Uptown Yoga

The Uptown Yoga Studio is home to many different style of classes and we are in the conveinient location of Wood Street in the heart of Old Town, Swindon. We offer Beginner sessions, Teen classes, Heated Yoga, Forest Inspired Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Hatha Yoga to name a few. We have classes 7 days a week so please come along and find a class or workshop that works for you in your yoga journey.

Coming from a successful competitve sports & dance background Jill always had a fascination with the beauty of flowing lines that could be made through movement of the body. Growing to recognize the benefits from regularly training and stretching throughout her childhood.

Finding her passion for teaching & sharing her knowlege at only 19 years of age, when she begun her figure skating coaching career.

Later, speading her wings across to the U.S.A. where she helped to inspire & train in skating schools and gymanstic training centers.

It was in 2011 when she had the chance to deepen her long term yoga practice, being surrounded by many wonderful inspiring U.S. teachers observing first hand the powerful impact a regular yoga practice could make. Noticing how time and time again yoga changed lives, Jill decided act upon her longing to study yoga and set off to study Sampoorna Yoga with Yogi Hari in his Ashram based in Mirama, Florida. Never having the intention to leave her 20yr coaching career behind. Returned home a 200hr qualifed yoga shiromani (teacher) and never looked back.

Jill loves to make students feel welcome, relaxed whilst guiding to achieve their personal goals in a fun loving enviroment.
