Delete Your Account & Data
At Quote Bank, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.
Option 1: Delete via the App or Website
If you have access to your account, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Quote Bank account
- Go to Profile Settings
- Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section
- Click "Delete Account"
- Enter your password to confirm
Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion manually, please email us:
Email: cs@quotebank.co.uk
Include the following in your email:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- The email address registered with your Quote Bank account
We will verify your identity and process your request within 1 working day.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, postcode)
- Your account credentials
- Your quote requests and service enquiries
- Messages exchanged with service providers
- Any photos or images you uploaded
- Your reviews and ratings
Data Retention
Once your account is deleted:
- Your personal data is removed from our active systems immediately
- Backup copies are purged within 30 days
- We may retain anonymised, non-personal data for analytics purposes
- Some data may be kept if required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes)
