You are advised to be well hydrated before practising hot yoga, so drink plenty of water prior to the class and try to avoid caffeine. During the class, take frequent sips of water and drink more water after the class ends. You will need a towel and preferably your own mat for hygiene reasons, although mats will be available if required.

Lauren stood on a yoga mat for the first time in 1997. Initially drawn to yoga for it's physical benefits, she soon embraced it's healing and emotional aspects, and in 2001 became a certified British School of Yoga teacher. She credits yoga for changing her life and leading her on a journey of self discovery. Once a shy, nervous, young girl who suffered regular anxiety attacks and chronic inflexibility. A regular yoga practice transformed Lauren into a confident, physically and emotionally healthy woman with a deep affinity and understanding of the needs of others.
