Jenny King Psychologist

Collaborative, individualised and compassionate psychological assessment and therapy with children, adolescents and adults to reduce distress and enhance wellbeing. Areas of specialty include trauma, physical health issues, and emotional wellbeing.

Jenny qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2003, and has worked since this time in both independent practice and NHS services in East and West Sussex, including: adult mental health, occupational health, neurology and long-term pain. Whilst training in clinical psychology at the University of Surrey, Jenny worked in adult, older people's and children's mental health services, and child and adult physical health departments. This breadth of experience has given Jenny skills and experience in working with either emotional issues or physical health difficulties on their own, and also on the ways in which they can interact. Jenny engages in regular continuing professional development to maintain and develop the skills acquired during training.
