Tim Pike Counsellor & Psychotherapist

I am fully qualified, highly experienced and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP). I offer both short term and long term work, and specialise in relationships, men's issues, self esteem, anger management, stress, loss, and sexuality. I work face to face but also offer work with Skype and telephone counselling, which offers flexibility to those who may not be able to attend face to face sessions.

I trained as a therapist and counsellor for Chichester Counselling Services. I have run therapeutic groups continually for a social care public sector provider since 2005. Simultaneously, I have been working one to one with counselling clients psychodynamically since 2005. I have been supervised at every point. Prior to this, I have a lengthy academic background as well as holding down various jobs in sales, banking, voluntary work, social care work and pastoral care. I've personally benefited from psychotherapy myself with both short and long term work on several occasions for a wide variety of different issues which started with family bereavement. People say I come across as very calm and approachable, friendly and warm. They say they find me consistent and reliable, honest and trustworthy. I find my work very rewarding. I find it stimulating to work with people who want to bring about changes and watch those changes happening. I am comfortable with being emotional intimate.
