Hi! My name is Anna Curtis. I am a fully qualified and insured sports and remedial massage therapist, personal trainer and pilates instructor working in the Surrey area. I have a background in science, completing a BSc in Genetics and a PhD in Biology. While I was working in a field that had the potential to help many people, I wanted to work directly with people, and to see how my work was helping people. I have always had a keen interest in sports and fitness, and have trained to a high level in classical ballet for over 30 years. In addition, my father has always been a keen sportsman and competed in rugby fives at a national level until the age of 60. I have learned over the years how important it is to be exposed to good advice for training practices, injury rehabilitation and general care of your body. I have also spent some time working in an office environment, and know only too well how the daily grind of the office and long commutes on overcrowded trains can affect your body.
