I'm Kara Yoga Instructor and healthy lifestyle enthusiast! During my time studying Psychology at University College London, the strong link between physical wellbeing and psychological wellbeing was something that really resonated with me. I've been involved in sport my whole life and have always appreciated mindfulness in training. Having been involved in high intensity training programmes for rowing, I can appreciate how easy it is for athletes to 'turn off' when training, and the negative, if not devastating consequences.

I also noticed the imprortance of developing a strong core as well as increasing mobility and flexibility - which has been well documented to increase performance and logeivity in athletes both professional and recreationally. I also discovered a very creative side of yoga through teaching it to two amazing children with autism, incorperating it into stories and various activities.
