Sianyoga

I was born and spent most of my childhood in Hong Kong and began to teach yoga in London in 2002, so I have 12 years' teaching experience having worked in London gyms and yoga centres as well as alot of private and corporate work. I have spent time studying Iyengar and Sivananda yoga but was soon drawn towards the challenges and dynamism of Ashtanga yoga, which is now my dedicated practice. Under the guidance of Hamish Hendry at Ashtanga Yoga London, I have deepened my understanding of yoga.

Hamish is currently only one of two Certified Ashtanga teachers in the UK. I have completed two teacher training qualifications (both Yoga Alliance recognised), and maintain my link with Asia by going to learn more from my teacher in Thailand, Paul Dallaghan (also Certified) once a year. I initially began yoga as a form of exercise and to de-stress. I lived life at a fast pace and needed something to slow me down and focus my mind.
