Starting therapy is a big step for anyone and it is particularly important that your therapist has been appropriately trained, and is a member of a recognised professional body. I have completed a rigorous three year professional training at The Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling where I graduated with the diploma in "Psychodynamic Counselling and Therapy in the Community". My training in intensive therapeutic work continued afterwards whereupon I was eligible to become registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and am a member of The Forum for Independent Psychotherapists.

I also have an honours degree awarded by the University of Reading. I abide by the Code of Ethics and Practice issued by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists.
