Joel Skingle Photography is just that — Joel Skingle… but with a secret back up team of his family, who keep him in cups of coffee, packed lunches, ironed chinos & cuddles the morning after a long day! Joel started his business 7 years ago, after studying & working successfully in Graphic Design for the likes of Dunlop, Wella & Hallmark cards. Photography was his most enjoyed part of his degree & this soon translated into the images he took at his first few weddings.
9 years on, his images continue to push boundaries further with every wedding. Joel’s eye for the perfect shot has earned him awards from his clients & the industry, a profile in Unveiled magazine, as well as weddings featured in Belle Bridal, Yorkshire Weddings & Pro Photographer Magazine.
When he’s not behind the camera, Joel loves nothing more than a walk along the River Swale with his Border Collie Ben, family time at home or packing up his Defender for a weekend of camping in the Dales!
