John Russell Photography

After completing a three year full time photography course at the London College of Printing, I worked as an assistant for two years before setting up my own professional photography studio based in London. Initially making my name specialising in studio product photography, it wasn't long before I was able to use my expertise and training to expand into other areas of commercial advertising photography, namely location, people and food photography. In brief, using all these skills I worked with well known Advertising Agencies on a wide range of interesting and demanding photography assignments. With 20 years of experience behind me, we moved to Devon - where I have worked as a commercial photographer for the last 18 years, for some of the area's largest brands. My images have been seen on posters, press, websites and many other forms of commercial media.
