Hertfordshire Counselling & CBT

We are a private practice based at St Albans offering professional counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to members of the public (individuals and couples). We are Chartered Psychologists, Counsellors and Psychotherapists with substantial NHS and private clinic experience. We are committed to providing professional psychological therapies in a safe, confidential and welcoming environment. Each client is a unique individual with diverse needs and requirements. The counselling we offer is based on a meaningful and purposeful relationship between client and counsellor.

The therapeutic relationship establishes a natural and honest ebb and flow in our exchanges which encourages exploration, facilitates challenges and enables the consideration of hopes and fears and resolution for the client. We use an integrative approach which we feel promotes creativity and authenticity that strengthens the therapeutic relationship and its purpose.
