Michael Fairbairn

I am an experienced and UKCP registered counsellor and psychotherapist working in full-time private practice in St Albans, Hertfordshire. I work with both individuals and couples, either on an open-ended basis or for a fixed term. I work primarily with adults who are experiencing change or upheaval in their lives. My counselling training was with Re. Vision, Centre for Integrative Psychosynthesis. If you are unfamiliar with counselling, it can be difficult to decide whether it is right for you. It may feel daunting to talk to a stranger about what troubles you and it is natural to feel anxious and unsure. It is very important to find a therapist who you feel you can trust and work with. I therefore encourage an initial consultation so that we can meet before any further decision is made.
