Psychotherapy can help you understand yourself better - Why you behave in a particular way and have certain feelings in certain situations. In other words, it helps you to understand the areas of difficulty, gain relief from present symptoms and learn new skills to cope with future issues.

My name is Chandrayee Basu and I am an experienced, professionally qualified counsellor/psychotherapist. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have a MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I abide by the BACP code of conduct, ethical requirements and professional practice. My approach is Integrative. I use client centred and psychodynamic techniques as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My way of working is collaborative and active in focusing on issues identified by the client.
