Dancing Nikita Company

DNC Studio hosts weekly Yoga classes, for adults (men & women) of all ages, backgrounds and levels. Regular Yoga classes help to develop fitness, flexibility, core strength and balance. The class ends with a relaxation which brings peace of mind. Participants are also introduced to Meditation.

DNC [Dancing Nikita Company] started on 1st April 2005, by Nikita Thakrar who at the time was a 20-year-old entrepreneur and enthusiast of Indian classical dance. Since its inception, DNC has trained hundreds of students, performed at numerous venues and launched its own purpose-built dance studio in Berkshire.

Nikita is a passionate performing artist and dance teacher, specializing in classical Indian Kathak dance (Lucknow Gharana). Aside from dance, she is an accomplished speaker and writer who takes a holistic approach towards life. Nikita trained in Yoga from an early age, alongside most of her teenage years studying the disciplined art-form of Kathak in Mumbai. During her time in India, Nikita built up a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. It was during this time she was introduced to meditation and mindfulness, with the Brahma Kumaris.
