They choose from a wide range of activities, within an environment carefully structured and prepared by the teachers.

The child is free to explore, manipulate and experiment, allowing for the fact that no two children are alike, and that each child's development is unique. Chichester Montessori Nursery was established in 1996 and is owned by Amelia Howitt. Mini Montessori, for children under the age of two, was opened in 2006 occupying its own fully equipped building and dedicated garden.
