Ann Cook Osteopath

I graduated with Honours in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy in 1995. This has become a lifelong study of learning in Osteopathy which is continual and ongoing, from a perspective introduced over a hundred years ago by Andrew Taylor Still, the founder of Osteopathy. I feel very fortunate to have lived and worked in Guildford for over 20 years In a vocation that I love. I welcome to my practice the diversity that each patient brings, from the newborn to old age and the opportunity to resolve the sometimes complex and long term problems that they present. Looking to extend the scope of my practice within the many aspects of Osteopathy has led me to post graduate studies with the Sutherland Cranial College, of which I am now a Fellow and Biodynamics under Dr James Jealous as well as tutoring at the European School of Osteopathy and other therapeutic modalities to explore the body/mind/emotion relationship. As scientific research reveals increasing evidence of how the body, mind and emotions are intimately related to our health and wellbeing, this supports the principles of A T Still and our role as Primary Health Care practitioners.
