When I first met Claire I was in a lot of pain. I was having great difficulty walking and with my mobility. I had been prescribed medication by a doctor which had eased the pain, but made me feel lousy. In three months Claire had me off most of the medication and mobile again. In six months I was feeling better than ever, back pain gone and hip much better.

Osteopaths treat the cause within the individual not the condition. Osteopaths look at the body as a whole, how one area interacts with another to return your body to a state of physical balance and health. Often patients find that when they have treatment for the primary problem, other issues are also resolved in the process. On many occasions patients do not realise that other secondary issues could be treated using osteopathy; both are usually resolved at the same time once the body is balanced.

The Advertising Standards Agency will only allow osteopaths to advertise that they treat conditions where the efficacy has been proven. Unfortunately the conditions listed are only a small percentage of conditions where patients report significant improvement.
