Welcome to Amiyoga, founded and owned by Ann-Marie Mainprize in 2000, Amiyoga provides yoga classes in Hatha yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Yoga workshops, Yoga retreats, holistic therapies, one to one yoga, thai yoga massage and sports injury therapy. Amiyoga aims to raise funds through the Amiyoga fund to provide yoga and therapy for disability, health and rehabilitation. Ann-Marie is co-owner of The yoga therapy lounge in Hull, a space dedicated to yoga and holistic health.
Passionate about yoga, Ann-Marie encourages a warm, friendly, compassionate approach and promotes a positive, holistic practice, encouraging each student to practice and progress at their own individual pace.
With an eye for alignment Ann-Marie uses her knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology, The Alexander technique and Sports injury therapy to focus on your individual health and postural problems and provide you with yoga adjustments, one to one support and variations to suit your level of practice.
Ann-Marie also manages a successful holistic therapy practice, providing Sport's injury therapy, Thai yoga massage, Reflexology, The Alexander technique and Indian head massage. Treatments provided are unique to your individual needs and requirements, and often a combination of holistic therapies are used during one single session to improve your alignment, posture and mobility, encourage pain relief, release tension, relieve your health problems or injuries and balance your energy levels.
