Village Sure Start Childrens

South Belfast Childcare was opened in January 2009 with support from Sure Start as a flagship Children's Centre in South Belfast. We offer day care for children up to 4 years of age who are cared for by qualified and experienced staff who support and care for our children. Staff offer a happy bright creative and stimulating environment where children are supported and nurtured to develop key social and learning skills. There are 3 day care rooms that are resourced with age appropriate toys and equipment to allow staff to plan for progression of play.

Staff observe and monitor the children so that each child progresses in their development. The Centre also has access to other support professionals such as Heath visitors, Speech and Language Therapists, Sure Start Key Worker and an Early Learning Co-ordinator. We have regular educational visits from Debutots, Jo Jingles, the Ark Farm, the Police, the Fire Brigade and the Zoo.
