He has 25 years clinical experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and is a recognised specialist in knee and shoulder pain, and the use of injections. He also has advanced qualifications in manipulation and acupuncture.
His advice is regularly sought by international sportspeople. He is part of the network of physiotherapists attached to the English Institute of Sport, formerly physiotherapist to the British Olympic Sailing Team and currently consultant physiotherapist to Ben Ainslie Racing.
In addition to this, he manages a normal clinical workload and maintains his position as lecturer/researcher at Southampton University. He is also course director and primary tutor on the renowned Masters Injection Therapy course held at the University.
