At Chichester Physiotherapy we are committed to ongoing professional development and use an evidence based approach to treatment which means treatment choices are supported by current research. We believe in using hands on treatment with advice and corrective exercises to help patients achieve their goals in the shortest possible time frame. Louise took over Chichester Physiotherapy in December 2016. Having graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy in 1996, Louise has specialized in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy for 18 years. The first half of her career was spent in Manchester where she experienced treating a wide variety of NHS patients and professional athletes. Louise enjoyed 5 years as a senior physiotherapist at BUPA Hospital Manchester, working closely with the orthopaedic surgeons, rehabilitating post-operative patients, and developing a special interest in biomechanics and lower limb rehabilitation. She has spent the last 10 years working for Sussex Community Trust, initially as an Outpatient Team Leader, then as an Extended Scope Practitioner specialising in backs, hips and knees. Louise set up her own private practice at home In 2015 after becoming frustrated with hearing the accounts of ineffective and unnecessary treatment that patients sometimes experience in the private sector.
