Hardwoods can be finished with a Teknos translucent finish. This topcoat protects against UV radiation, humidity and fungal attack, to provide long term protection. Also available is a solid timber, treated to give a 60-year minimum service life, with all the associated advantages.
From humble beginnings R.Stannard Joinery now runs maintenance programs on grade one listed buildings and grade two listed buildings and a country estate. This work combines monitoring both the fabric of the buildings for regular maintenance, with conservation of the furniture and interiors.
