South Bucks Karate Club has been operating in the High Wycombe area for nearly 30 years. Originally based at Sands before moving to Prestwood in the late 80's and Bisham Abbey in the mid 90s then Borlase School in 2008. In June 2009 we moved From Marlow Borlase School to our next training hall at St Piran's Center, Maidenhead. In July 2014 we moved to our current location at Newlands Girls School.
The Prestwood Karate Center, based in Prestwood Village Hall, enjoys a fully matted training area and is fully equipped with training equipment. Prestwood is centrally placed between High Wycombe, Wendover and Amersham in the South Buckinghamshire area. The Newlands Girl's Karate Center, in Maidenhead, also enjoys a fully matted training area.
Our training schedules at both the Prestwood Karate Dojo and the Maidenhead Dojo are covered fully on this site. The SBKA are fully registered members of the United Kingdom All Style Karate Organisation (UKASKO) which is run by World renowned Shukokai Karate Instructor Hanshi (9th Dan) Roy Stanhope.
