Smallhythe Studio, run by Rowena McWilliams, is an exciting gallery and art centre near Tenterden which exhibits and promotes high quality contemporary art. Smallhythe Studio exhibits work by successful contemporary artists, primarily from the south east of England, with an emphasis on landscape and abstract work.
The studio also uncovers and supports promising new artists, offering them exhibition space and helping them to develop their work.A varied and constantly changing selection of art classes and courses are offered for children and adults at all levels.Rowena has a background in art history and is a practising artist inspired by landscape, colour, texture and poetry. She is also a passionate teacher with experience at all levels from primary through to adult.Rowena specialises in carefully curated exhibitions.
