Working alongside your business as an extension of your team, I create and implement public relations plans and activities aligned to your business goals. I set up Simply PR in July 2009, after working as a journalist and news editor for 8 years followed by 12 years in PR working for agencies and in-house for national and international organisations. I keep things simple - I believe in keeping things simple and easy in communications and business. That's why my consultancy is called Simply PR!
A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, she has developed and managed communications campaigns for a wide range of organisations, with particular specialism in the health and wellbeing, education and leisure sectors. Sue has also worked in-house, leading the UK and international corporate communications strategy for University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and regional communications for UK watchdog Postwatch, now part of Consumer Watch.
A former journalist and news editor, Sue started her career in local and evening newspapers and has a unique understanding of how the media works and what it takes to get great positive coverage. In 2009, Sue wanted a new challenge and set up Simply PR to offer businesses and organisations in East Anglia an affordable but equally experienced alternative to large PR agencies.
