Shinko Karate is a traditional Shotokan Karate Club in York. We offer Karate Classes for all abilities and age groups with separate Karate Lessons for adults and children. Our Karate Classes are taught by senior KUGB black belt instructors ranging from 2nd Dan to 4th Dan all of which are CRB checked. We are a fun and exciting club, promoting Fitness, Self Discipline and Improving Self Esteem.
Shinko Karate Club - York is affiliated to the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB), Britain's largest, longest-established and most successful single-style Karate Association. For those of you who have the competitive edge, we regularly attend Karate Competitions, Regionally, Nationally and Internationally. We have two students who are current members of the KUGB England Junior Kumite Squad.
