Full take-away facilities, including pre-orders by telephone (except Friday and Saturday evenings), where you will be warmly greeted and looked-after by our staff. Responsibly-sourced produce from ethical and sustainable supplies with an emphasis on cooking processes which maximise health, nutrition, and taste. Established in 1969, Seine Rigger was named after a type of fishing vessel (a Rigger) designed for the purpose of seine fishing, a particular style of fishing using specialist nets to land its catch in order to minimise damage to the seabed. Seine Rigger has been in the same family since establishment, operating with the consistent objectives of providing top quality produce in prime condition so as to ensure our customers are always keen to return. We purchase all our fish through suppliers based in North of England and Scottish ports and via Billingsgate Market in London, which are sourced from sustainable stocks and responsibly—managed fishing grounds in British and Baltic Seas.
