Fish and Chips at Silks is a multi award winning fish and chip takeaway business situated in Scarborough. We are famous for the quality of our Fish and Chips and our customer service having won the best fish and chip shop in the uk award for 2011. Our aim is always to provide the freshest most delicious food we can.
Our Potatoes are locally sourced we use only the best Maris Pipers, Cabaret or Bard available.
Our chips are nice and crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside these are thicker for a healthier product for our customers.
They are prepared on site fresh every day along with our homemade fishcakes and scallops.
Our Fish is sourced from responsibly managed fishing grounds and our suppliers are members of FASA or MSC.
We mainly use line caught Norwegian Haddock which is a premium fish this is all filleted on site every day.
Our Cod is sourced mainly from sustainable stocks in and around the seas in Iceland and is also filleted on site.
