Sattva Hatha Yoga

For many years, I led an incredibly stressful life, all the usual things, lifes ups and downs, hectic job, relationships and social life, all competing with one another for my time and energy - much the same as everyone else! I hadn't done any real exercise for several years and decided I would "ease" my way back into exercise with Yoga - little did I know that "easing" my way back into exercise was going to completely transform my life. I loved that Yoga is non-competitive, and that my practice was "my" practice.

I left my classes feeling energised, grounded, centered, and physically I could feel that my core muscles were being strengthened - I felt good - I also felt calm and mindful and far more able to deal with the "stuff" life throws at us. After practicing Yoga for about a year I began to realise that there was far more to Yoga than the physical practice - this interested me and I began to research Yoga in more depth.
