I am a UKCP registered Gestalt psychotherapist with a background in teaching and Advice work. I have also trained in EMDR and in various Energy psychotherapy methods and have been astonished by the power and gentleness of these new methods which combine modern psychotherapy with ancient knowledge of the ways in which energy operates within the body.

As a Gestalt therapist, I believe that people are born with the potential to live satisfying and creative lives. Sometimes people get stuck in beliefs and ways of behaving which have been useful in the past but have become limiting. I see my task as a therapist as being to help you to see more clearly what your situation is, find out how you are part of it and experiment with finding new ways to move on from "unfinished business". Dealing with the consequences of old suffering can lead to a new and more satisfying perspective on life.
