REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) is the representative body for the UK's £27 billion private recruitment and staffing industry with a membership of more than 8,000 corporate members comprising of agencies and businesses from all sectors and 6,000 members of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) made up of recruitment consultants and other industry professionals. All members must abide by an REC Code of Professional Practice.

As REC members we have pledged ourselves to a set of guidelines governing professional practise. We are held accountable to these by the REC and would lose our accreditation should we be found to be in breach of these. This means that whether you are an employer looking to take on staff through us or a job seeker entrusting us to represent you and your best interests, you can be assured that we will act in accordance with the REC's standards.
