PMPR's owner and Managing Director Peter McLean was formerly the City of Glasgow's Sports Promotions & Sponsorship Officer, Race Director of The Great Scottish Run and also Celtic Football Club's Spokesperson, Managing Editor & Public Relations Manager for six years. He is currently Director of Public Relations for the Association of International Marathons & Distance Races (AIMS), a world sporting organisation covering over ninety countries across the world including many of the world's largest sporting participation events such as the Tokyo, Moscow, Buenos Aires & Rio de Janeiro Marathons.

Peter has worked on events with many of the top names in sport and entertainment such as athlete Carl Lewis, footballers Johan Cruyff, Kaka & Ronaldinho, entertainers Billy Connolly, Rod Stewart & the late Michael Jackson. Peter's experience at the sharp end in front of the camera is considerable with experience of media management & interviews in every continent of the world.
