Playday Nursery

We aim to provide a happy, safe, stimulating environment where your child can develop to his or her full potential. We believe that a child’s development is enhanced by creative, educational and social play, provided by kind and qualified staff who work in close partnership with parents and carers. Playday Nursery has been established in Newton Aycliffe since 1995. We are a private family owned day care provision providing complete childcare for children 0 – 5 yrs. Our premises is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac at the Simpasture Gate junction of Finchale Road near Aycliffe Business Park, and benefits from its own car park and spacious outdoor play area. We have four fully equipped rooms to suit the needs and requirements of each age group. Children are also taken on a variety of outings within the local community. We aim to provide a warm welcoming environment where children are supported to reach their full potential according to their individual needs. We seek to offer a childcare place, wherever possible, for all children and will undertake to make reasonable adjustments within the setting to support any child with any learning difficulties and / or disabilities. Your child is allocated a key person who will assist in the settling in of your child and will get to know your child so that they can fully support your child’s development.
