Play Mates Childminding

I aim to provide and safe and secure environment for children. I understand that children have their own individual needs and I work with parents, carers, other settings and professionals to ensure that these needs are met.I work from my home which I share with my husband and 4 year old daughter. We live only a five minute walk into town and the shops and have various parks and play areas nearby.I encourage the children to be active and play outside whenever possible and will take them on as many trips out as I can to allow them to experience lots of different environments. I will always ensure that the children are kept safe on these outings. If we are unable to go out I have a large secure garden for the children to play in with outdoor toys such as a play house, sandpit, swing and bats and balls. There is also a paddling pool for nice days which of course the children will be carefully supervised whilst using.I also have several pets, including 2 dogs, a rabbit, and a fish tank. The children will always be supervised whilst handling the animals and will never be left unattended with them. The children will be encouraged to help care for them but will also be taught good hygiene such as washing hands after handling them.
