Working as both an in-house and freelance consumer PR consultant and events organiser since 1996, I've gained recognition for delivering great stories and original angles about my clients to key journalists in radio, international, national and regional newspapers and glossy magazines at just the right time. I've also been working as a freelance design, lifestyle and travel writer since 1998, for, amongst others, The Telegraph, the Observer, the Guardian, Sunday Times Style, Sunday Times Travel magazine, Conde Nast Traveller, Harpers Bazaar, Tatler, Brides, Elle Decoration and Marie Claire. Combining pr skills and freelance writing has given me a unique insider track on what editors are after. I know what makes a good story angle, understand and can advise on photography and have a huge list of contacts and long-lasting friendships within the media. Working from home also means my overheads are minimal, making me more affordable.
