Launched in 2008, it is run by director Jonathan Cross, a former local and national newspaper journalist and in-house PR practitioner. PWP, based in Nottingham, works with clients across the East Midlands and nationwide, in a variety of sectors including healthcare, environment, education and sport. Prior to establishing the consultancy, Jonathan worked in-house in the private and public sector, latterly as the communications director for a NHS primary care trust, leading his colleagues to the title of NHS communications team of the year.
