Acupuncture is one of the safest medical practises on offer in the UK today and is used by thousands of people as an effective way of improving their health. Whether suffering from physical problems such as a bad back, painful joints or reoccurring headaches, problems with poor digestion, menstrual or fertility issues, or even the inability to sleep at night, acupuncture has been shown to alleviate these issues and re-establish healthy functioning within the body.

I am a qualified acupuncturist and massage therapist. I became interested in acupuncture for my own health and was so impressed by the profound effect it had that I decided to train to become a practitioner myself. I used acupuncture to help conceive my son who was born in 2011, and used acupuncture throughout my pregnancy, to induce the labour and in post-partum recovery. The ICOM course is the oldest in the UK and combines Chinese medicine with comprehensive Western medicine modules (anatomy, physiology and pathology) so that all graduates are qualified to work alongside NHS healthcare professionals.

I am a fully accredited member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and am also qualified in several massage disciplines, including Acupressure, Swedish and Indian head massage.
