Oakwood House

Oakwood House is an independent counselling service that provides a range of psychological therapies. We specialise in cost-effective community-based care in Greater Manchester and the North West of England, serving NHS and private clients. We can provide therapy in Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Romanian, and French as well as English. NHS psychological therapy for weight management in Stockport is accessed via GP referral to the Stockport Public Health Specialist Weight Management Team. Therapy is offered in-person as well as via telephone, email and instant chat (by appointment only).

Please feel free to contact us to see how we can help you. Our primary Stockport premises are not currently wheelchair accessible. We can make arrangements to see you in an alternative venue if needed, please call in advance of your visit. We are currently looking for volunteers to run weekly activities, such as arts and crafts, calligraphy, poetry club, patchwork or similar.
