Dr Ailis F. Murphy is a Chartered Psychologist and Psychotherapist. She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Sciences and a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council, the licensing body for psychologists in the UK. Dr Murphy holds a BA(Hons) in Psychology, an MSc in Forensic Psychology, the British Psychological Society's applied practitioner Diploma in Forensic Psychology, a Doctorate in Psychology and has six years training in psychotherapy.

Dr Murphy runs a private practice in Liverpool, and is the Clinical Director of the Liverpool Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy and Northwest Psychology Consultants. She is a Registered Practitioner with Aviva Health Insurance, AxaPPP Healthcare, WPA and PruHealth. Dr Murphy's Standard Hourly Rate is £130 (LSC-funded work charged as appropriate) for assessments, testing, reports and court appearance.
