Newtown Counselling

Based in Edinburgh, Newtown Counselling offers counselling and psychotherapy services to help tackle mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, eating disorders, bereavement, loss, relationship breakdown, trauma, abuse and self-harm. Newtown Counselling provides an opportunity for you to explore who you are, how you feel, and what you need to enrich your life.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Edinburgh. This focused on the Person Centred approach and Psychodynamic perspective. I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within the BACP's Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions. I'm accountable to the BACP's Professional Conduct Procedure, so you can be confident about my professional standards and experience.

In addition to my private practice, I am a counsellor at Wellspring, a leading centre for the provision of affordable high-quality psychotherapy & counselling. Previously, I was a counsellor at The PF Counselling Service, a charity located in Morningside.

I am happy to work with almost any issue and have experience of working face to face with a wide range of clients.
