Lorraine's School

We provide a fun and friendly, yet disciplined environment where young people can explore the world of dance. Lorraines School of Dance offers classes for children in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, drama and singing, starting from pre-school beginners (age 3 years) all the way through to advanced major grades. Adult classes can also be taken in ballet and tap. All dance classes (except for Jazz and adult classes) work towards regular ISTD examinations. Our children have appeared in the West End productions of: Billy Elliott, Oliver, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, National Youth Ballet, Professional and Amateur Pantomimes and also Local Demonstrations. Many of our students go on to dance professionally in the West End, Cruise Ships, backing dancers for celebrities, appear on television and teaching dance. All of our teachers are professionals who have worked and continue to perform in the performing arts industry. All of our teachers are highly qualified and CRB checked, so you can rest assured that your child is getting the best training in a safe and positive environment.
