Louise Austin School

The Louise Austin School of Dance was established in April 1999 by the Principal, Louise Ford. We offer Disco Duck classes for children aged 18 months - 3 yrs & ISTD Ballet, Tap & Modern Dance classes for children aged 3yrs - 18yrs. The classes are held in a wide variety of locations across the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire border including Bicester, Brill, Haddenham & Long Crendon, please see the timetable page for a full list of our locations & classes.

Alongside their weekly classes pupils have the opportunity to take ISTD examinations, perform in our bi-annual show in a professional theatre, choreographic competitions, & Workshops. Also pupils that have been recognised as making an outstanding effort and improvement throughout the year are awarded in our Annual Prize Giving. We have a number of past pupils that have continued their dance training after leaving us & now have a careers in dance. All classes are taught by fully qualified and registered ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) teachers, with experienced staff you can ensure your child will be taught in a fun, friendly and safe environment. All staff have current DBS checks. We are very proud of our fun and friendly environment we create at the school, resulting in happy and enthusiastic pupils and staff. Our aim at the school is for the pupils to get pleasure and enjoyment whilst learning about the world of dance.
