In 1999, after fourteen years at John Charcol, James Perkins left to establish Kingsway Mortgages. He had a very different vision for his own brokerage. He wanted to build a company that focused on the individual rather than the high volume market, providing high quality, independent advice to each and every one of its clients.

As a result of such clearly defined values and its transparent fee structure, Kingsway quickly won the support of many loyal clients, who subsequently recommended them to their friends and families.
