I run regular yoga classes and offer a wide range of holistic therapies including individual yoga as therapy, Bowen technique, hypnotherapy and EFT. Where do I work? I work mainly from my clinic in Pontardawe, South Wales but I also cover the areas of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, South Powys, and Carmarthenshire.
Janet has been involved in the teachings of yoga for over 20 years. She qualified as a teacher with The British Wheel of Yoga in 2005, and holds the post as their County Representative for Mid & West Glamorgan. She is has specialised in Yoga for pregnancy (BWY), and also holds qualifications in Yoga Therapy for Women's health (Yoga Academy, London), and Yoga for Children. She also has a keen interest in using Yoga to help with mental health problems, which she is further studying.
She qualified as Clinical Hypnotherapist with Zodiac Therapy College of Complementary Therapies, and received extra training in EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy). She qualified as a Nutrition and Health Practitioner with the Weight Management Centre in 2008, and offers advice and support in all areas of nutrition. Janet is also a volunteer with BEAT, the National Eating Disorders Association and she is a qualified Eating Disorders Practitioner.
