Jacqueline Bentley

After some years as a social worker working with children and families, I worked in industry. I then obtained a Master's degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy and have worked as a psychotherapist and counsellor for over 16 years.

I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and am a Snr. Accredited Counsellor with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also have a Masters in Creative Writing. I feel creativity is an important aspect of our lives, we each find our own way of expressing it -through writing or gardening, bringing up our children or sports.

I have training and experience in a variety of approaches. I have specialised in short term brief therapy, working for 12 years in Primary Care and for 20 years for a variety of short term care providers. I see clients weekly, fortnightly and occasionally monthly. You and I will work out together what is the right approach and the right frequency for you.
