InvestAcc was established in 1992 to meet the needs and requirements of one of Cumbria's most progressive accountancy practices, offering specialist independent financial planning advice in pensions, tax efficient investments and life assurance to individuals and businesses. During the 1990's we developed relationships with a number of selected Chartered Accountancy practices offering consultancy and compliance services to their in-house Financial Services divisions.

In 2002, having developed a national client base and outgrown the accountancy practice we moved offices to Carlisle for better communication links. At the same time we expanded into the self-invested pension market obtaining HMRC Pensioneer Trustee status, which allowed us to manage Small Self Administered Pension Schemes. In 2003 in response to client demand we launched the Minerva SIPP, which has recently been awarded a Defaqto five star rating reflecting our commitment to product excellence.
