Founded in Leeds in 2004 by Gary Blackburn and Paul Whitwam, BWC provides genuine partner led advice on all aspects of Corporate and Personal Insolvency and Recovery. We deliver carefully tailored solutions to businesses, individuals, their professional advisors and funders.

In 2008, BWC opened an office in Stockton on Tees, headed up by the resident Partner, David Willis. In 2013, we opened an office in Harrogate, allowing us to provide professional advice on a regional basis across North, South, East and West Yorkshire, as well as to the Tees Valley and County Durham.

Our four Partners are all Licensed Insolvency Practitioners and bring together combined insolvency and recovery experience of over 90 years which, combined with a team of over 20 experienced and professional staff, makes BWC one of the most experienced and qualified teams in the North of England.
