Highland Geomatics

We use Ordnance Survey base maps to produce custom maps for a variety of uses: planning applications and obligations, title deed plans, decrofting applications, croft registration, rural planning, estate management, community mapping, event maps, the list is endless. Highland Geomatics was established in 2003 by Director, Miles Davis, and has been involved in a wide variety of mapping projects ever since, including mapping archaeological sites in northern Canada, setting up the Cairngorms National Park GIS service, mapping deer densities in Scotland, croft boundary mapping and producing waterproof maps for the Highlander Mountain Marathon and other outdoor events. In 2017, we welcomed Caroline Matheson to Highland Geomatics to compliment our existing team. Caroline brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience of farming and crofting, along with many years of mapping and Geographic Information Systems.
