HELPING HANDS (of Dawlish) was originally established in October 1985 in response to a need for a reliable and trustworthy Independent Living and Mobility Aid provider. Over the ensuing years it became more and more evident that so many of our Clients were wanting more and more "practical aids", so that they could remain in their own homes. Seeing this need, we rented a small local shop and further developed a Retail Base in our lovely home town of Dawlish. After 2 years we decided to bite the proverbial bullet and buy a larger, more suitable shop property in the Town Centre, and that is where we have been since 1999 - serving our Community - it has been very hard work at times, but the ultimate aim has never changed to this day, to be a practical help in whatever way we can, to our Clients/Customers.

A cold, dull start to the weekend in Dawlish today folks with rain forecast for tonight and tomorrow. These socks are highly recommended for people with Diabetes, Arthritis and Sensitive Feet. These 'Stay-Up' socks are made from high-stretch cotton core yarns that allow them to hug your feet and prevent wrinkling with in the shoe or down the leg. They have also been manufactured with a Hand Linked toe, to assure a seamless toe, tpreventing rubbing in the toe area.

The ribbed top stretches up to 18 (45cm) wide and are available in sizes 6-11 and choice of colours. To save packing the car up to the brim and transporting them to your holiday home we can provide items for you to use while here on holiday. We can provide Self-propelled wheelchairs, Transit wheelchairs, Rollators or 3 Wheeled walkers. Alternatively, just pop along to our shop in High Street to take a look at what we can provide.
